Hi! I'm Amy Riley. I'm an average runner - or at least an average marathoner. I'm not a stellar athlete, yet I tend to jump in with both feet. I started running 6 years ago and within 15 months was doing my first marathon. I registered! And immediately felt like crying

I registered! Phew, there was a long line of people waiting to register. A long line of people with their volunteer shirts! I quickly surmissed that you were supposed to bring your volunteer shirt. I didn't. I thought "Okay, if I need it and I don't have time to get it - so be it. I'll be fine either way." To Ironman or Not To Ironman?

I had a plan.
